Corona is the closest site to 1947, UFO crash at about 30 miles (48 km) to the southeast. In 2004, Corona suffered with forest fire ranging about 4000 acre of land.

Demographic Information

Corona is a village situated in Lincoln County, New Mexico, United States. Corona is located at 34°15′2″N, 105°35′44″W (34.250498, -105.595475) at 6690 feet above the sea level. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.0 square miles (2.6 km²), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 165 people, 81 households, and 46 families residing in the village. The population density was 161.4 people per square mile (62.5/km²).
